Compost & Bark
Finding the correct compost for your gardening project is very important and we’re here to try and make that process as easy as it can be. We have a wide range of compost types; from your everyday, to organic, to more specialist types. We also supply bark, or mulch in 3 different forms to suit your needs.
Multipurpose Composts
All of our compost is peat-free, including our multi-purpose range. We have our most popular compost, as well as 2 different blends of organic, premium compost. We also have a range of composts from seedling to mature plant, to give your new plants everything they need as they develop.
Specialist Formulas
For more specific plants and shrubs, we have specialist composts to ensure the best growth. Rose, Tree and Shrub, Citrus, Aquatic, Houseplant, Bonsai, Cacti and even more. We have a compost for every need in a variety of different sizes. These composts contain specific nutrients to help these plants develop how they need and what suits their plant best.
Ericaceous Compost
For acid loving plants we recommend ericaceous compost, which is designed to change the acid levels in the soil to best suit the plant. Ericaceous can help nourish your Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Acers, Hydrangeas, Camelia as well as many other shrubs.
Soil Improvers & Composted Bark
If your existing soil lacks the right nutrients for your plants to grow the best they can, we have composts and bark to help treat the soil and make it nutrient rich. From soil improver, to manure and even composted bark, there are plenty of options to give your plants the right start to their life.
When your plants are firmly settled and you want to protect them as much as you can from weeds, heat and small animals, you can spread a layer of bark over the top. This helps to lock in moisture and we have different varieties from decorative to smaller.
Liquid Feeds & Slow-Release Nutrition
Developing plants need regular feeds to thrive. Fast-acting liquid feeds, such as seaweed extracts or specialized tomato food, allow you to water your plants and feed them straight away. For longer-lasting feeds you can use slow-release granules, mixed into the soil and watered to break down as needed.
