The Story of Us
Elmwood was started over 30 years ago by Maurice, who began growing plants from seeds while he cared for his wife. He then began to sell these at the shop his children Sara and Mark ran together until they all decided to grow plants on a commercial level at the site we're still at today. We grew bedding plants for a long time and then began buying more specialist plants from other growers and expanded our range. Now, most of our plants are supplied by trusted, British growers and we've expanded to other areas, including tools, pots, houseplants, stone and chippings and even more.
